Original oil painting, created on a canvas on an oval frame. The artwork was created in 2026 using professional oils with a multi-layering technique over many painting sessions.

In this painting I wanted to capture the quiet, mysterious atmosphere of the forest floor, where the remains of an animal become part of the landscape. The pale skull of a roe deer buck is surrounded by deep green foliage, lingonberry plants, moss and scattered pine needles. The natural textures and muted colors create a peaceful yet slightly haunting woodland scene.

The reference for this painting is my own.

The artwork is signed and varnished, and the side edges are painted. Please note that this painting does not need a frame and can be hung as it is.
