Bright kingfisher on a branch with moss and lichen oil painting, original artwork (not a print).
Original oil painting, created on a linen on an oval frame. The artwork is made with professional oils with a multi layering technique which helped me to build up different shades and tones of a color to create depth and interest of the object. The creamy background contrasts with the bright blue and orange plumage of the kingfisher. The painting was created slowly in many sessions and I am proud to state that every detail and shade is carefully considered and applied. The artwork is signed and varnished, the side edges are painted. Please note that this painting does not need a frame, it can be hung by the edge.
