Description
Eurasian jay (Garrulus glandarius (L.)), framed bird illustration (not a print).
Original coloured pencil drawing, created by myself on a paper. The artwork is made with professional, lightfast tested coloured pencils using a layering technique which helped me to build up different shades and tones of a color to create depth and interest of the object. As the result, the illustrated object has a visual volume. The illustration is framed in a simple, high quality brown frame.
Size of the framed illustration is 21 x 30 cm (8.2 x 11.8 in).
The actual colors may slightly vary from those shown due to the nature of photographing and monitor color settings.
This illustration is a part of “Birds at the feeders” collection made in a collaboration with Latvian Ornithology society. 30% of the income for this illustration will be donated to the society for bird protection.
