I’m incredibly happy to share that this exhibiti I’m incredibly happy to share that this exhibition will take place at the wonderful @pavarumaja — a truly special restaurant where fine cuisine and a deep respect for nature come together. I’m deeply grateful for this opportunity and excited to see my works living in such a beautiful and thoughtfully curated space.

“Be Here and Now” is an invitation to a mindful presence in nature. In these works, birds and animals are not only accurately observed subjects, but quiet companions — encouraging the viewer to pause, observe, and reconnect with the natural rhythm of life, here and now.
The exhibition will be open for 3 month as of tomorrow, January 20. 🤗 Welcome to experience the top level restaurant and the local wildlife art. ❤️

Turned out after a while that it is species -.little owl. 😄 This little bad boy "marinated" on my table.half done for three weeks because... well, there was no light. No sun, no energy for Marta. No energy -> no mojo on pencils. 🤷‍♀️ I hope this dark period will end and the sun will be switched back on. I heard today that the sun shined for less than an hour in total here in Latvia. An hour! 🙈🙈🙈🙈

Eagle owl is the most complicated of all owls I've illustrated so far. Extremely detailed and attention demanding. I am satisfied with the result even though it took me almost twice as much time as I initially planned. 😊

Who doesn't know a sparrow? Loud, social bird who Who doesn't know a sparrow? Loud, social bird who loves to chatter in smaller or larger flocks. 🖤 These two illustrations were part of the project "Birds at the feeders" that was developed in a collaboration with @lob_lv last year. This lovely pair is available together or seperately in my webpage (link in my profile). I think these would make an excellent gift as not only they are accurate captures if the species, but they would be gifts with added value - I will donate 30% of the income to Latvian Ornithology Society for their projects. ❤️ For more info please see the mentioned link or drop me a DM right here in Insta. 🙃

I loved painting every layer of its soft feathers and warm colors. There’s something so sweet and gentle about these birds — they just feel so lovable.
The painting is framed in a brown wooden frame with a soft copper-patina touch, ready to brighten up a cozy corner or become a heartfelt gift.

✨ A small piece of the wild, painted to bring warmth and stillness into your space. More info about this artwork can be found in my webpage (link in my Insta profile). 🤗
